Tutio Privacy Policy

The short version

• Tutio is a notes app that works entirely on your device. If you do not sign in, nothing you write leaves your device, and we have no data about you.
• Signing in is optional. It turns on sync between your devices. Then your notes are stored on our server.
• Sync is not end-to-end encrypted. Your notes are encrypted on the way to our server and encrypted where they are stored, but the key is held by us. Our server reads your notes in order to send them to your other devices, and the operator of the service could technically read them.
• We do not show ads, we do not use analytics or tracking tools, and we do not sell or share your data.
• You can delete your account, and everything we hold for it, from inside the app at any time.

1. If you do not sign in

Nothing is collected. The app stores your notes, captures, clipboard history, recordings and images on your device only. It contains no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting software, and it does not contact our server.

Voice. Turning speech into text happens on your device, using the device's own on-device speech recognition and a speech model that Tutio runs on the device. Tutio never uploads audio. The first time you use voice, the app asks before downloading that speech model from huggingface.co; that download shows your IP address to Hugging Face and its content network, and nothing else about you. If your phone is missing a language pack for its own speech recognition, the phone's speech service downloads it from its vendor (Apple or Google), not from us.

2. What we collect when you sign in

Only what sync needs. We collect it from you directly, through the app.

Your account

What you write, if you sync it

Clipboard sync has its own switch and can be turned off while note sync stays on. Only the Mac app reads the clipboard. The phone app never reads your phone's clipboard: it shows what your Mac sent, and what you choose to save.

About your devices

We do not collect your device's model, operating-system version, advertising identifier, contacts, location or anything else about it.

Technical data

• IP address. Our server uses your IP address to limit how many sign-in attempts can be made from one address. It keeps a one-way hash of the address, never the address itself, for at most 2 days. Our server does not write IP addresses to its logs. Cloudflare and the gateway in front of our server keep ordinary access logs (IP address, the address requested and the time, not the body of a request) for a limited period, for security and troubleshooting.
• An address somebody types in. Anyone can enter an email address on the sign-in screen. When that happens we send that address one email with a code, and keep a hash of the address for up to 2 days to limit how often codes can be sent to it. No account exists until the code is entered.
• Server logs. Our server's logs do not contain your notes, your clipboard, sign-in codes, access tokens or your full email address. If an email to you fails to send, the log records a masked address (a***@example.com). Logs are kept for a limited period, for security and troubleshooting, and then deleted.
• Sizes and times. For each item we store its size, when it was created and changed, and whether it was deleted. These are not encrypted.
• Fingerprints of attachments. Images and voice recordings stay on your device (section 3). A note or capture that contains one includes a fingerprint (a SHA-256 hash) of the file in its text, and that fingerprint is synced with the text. It identifies the file; it cannot be turned back into the image or the recording.

3. What never leaves your device

• Voice recordings and other audio.
• Images, screenshots and files attached to notes and captures.
• Passwords and other concealed clipboard entries. Copies that the system marks as concealed, transient or auto-generated (as password managers do) are refused before the app reads them. They are never stored and never sent.
• Anything you copy on your phone. The phone app does not read the phone's clipboard at all.
• Everything, while you are signed out.
• Clipboard entries, while clipboard sync is off.
• Your settings, reminders and anything not listed in section 2.

So on a second device, a note shows its text but not its pictures or recordings.

4. How it is protected, and what that does not mean

• In transit: every connection between the app and our service uses HTTPS (TLS). The app refuses to connect any other way. The connection ends at Cloudflare, which passes the request on to our server (section 5), so Cloudflare handles your data unencrypted for the moment it takes to do so.
• At rest: the text of your notes, captures, category and tag names, clipboard items and device names is encrypted in our database with AES-256-GCM. A copy of the database, or a backup of it, does not contain readable text.
• It is not end-to-end encryption. The encryption key is held by us, separately from the database. It is stored in a separate configuration system on the infrastructure the service runs on. Our server decrypts your content every time it sends it to one of your devices. This means:
  • the operator of the service could technically read your content;
  • anyone who obtained both the database and the key could read it;
  • we could be compelled by a court to hand it over.
    
    If that is not acceptable for something, do not sync it: Tutio works fully without signing in.
• Not encrypted at rest by us: your email address, display name, language, time zone, and the sizes, times, links and identifiers listed in section 2.
• Signing in: there are no passwords. A sign-in code is valid for 10 minutes and five attempts, and is stored only as a keyed hash. Every sign-in on a new device sends an email to your address, with a link that signs out all your devices. Whoever can read your email can sign in to your account, so protect your mailbox.

5. Where it is stored, and who else processes it

• Hosting. Our server and database are hosted by OVH (OVH SAS) in France.
• Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA) carries all traffic between the app and our server. Every request passes through its network, where the encrypted connection from your device ends and a new one to our server begins. Cloudflare therefore processes everything you sync while it is in transit, including the content of your notes and clipboard, your email address and your IP address. It does so on our behalf and does not store your content. Cloudflare acts for us under its standard data processing terms.
• Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) sends our emails. It receives your email address and the content of the emails we send you: your sign-in code, and the notice of a new sign-in (the kind of device, the time, and a sign-out link). It never receives your notes. Resend acts for us under its standard data processing terms and keeps records of sent email according to its own retention policy.
• Nobody else. We do not sell, rent or share your data, and there are no advertising or analytics companies involved.
• Legal requests. We may disclose data when the law requires it. Tutio is operated from Türkiye and its server is in France, so authorities in Türkiye, France and the European Union may be able to require this.

6. How long we keep it

7. Deleting your account

In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. It takes effect immediately.

• Deleted at once: your account and email address, display name, every note, capture, category, tag, board card and clipboard item (saved or being relayed), every device and session, and your storage total.
• Signed out everywhere: every device of the account stops working with the server at once.
• Kept: a count of how many accounts were deleted in that month, with nothing that identifies you.
• Not deleted by us: the notes on your own devices. Deleting your account does not erase your devices; the app says so before you confirm.
• Lingers for a limited time: hashed IP addresses (2 days), and emails already sent to you, in your mailbox and in our email provider's records (kept according to that provider's own retention policy). There are no backups for a deleted account to remain in.

If you cannot use the app, delete your account in a browser at https://api.tutioapp.com/account/delete. It asks for your email address, sends it a code, and shows what will be erased before it deletes anything.

8. Getting a copy of your data

Everything you sync is already on your devices, in full, in the app. You can also save a complete copy yourself: Settings → Data → Back up writes everything, including images and recordings, to a file you keep, and there is a plain-text export of your notes. There is no export from the server today. If you ask us at the contact address, we will send you the data we hold for your account within 30 days.

9. Your rights

You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop processing it, and you can complain to your data protection authority. If you are in Türkiye, these are your rights under article 11 of Law No. 6698 (KVKK), and you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Authority (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu). If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the rights set out in articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR and can complain to your local data protection authority. We process your data because it is necessary to provide the sync service you asked for when you signed in, and, for sign-in limits, because of our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure. To use any of these rights, write to the contact address above.

10. No ads, no analytics, no tracking

• No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
• No analytics, tracking or crash-reporting software, in the app or on the server.
• We do not build a profile of you and do not combine your data with data from anywhere else.
• We do not measure how you use the app, or how many people are using it.
• What we do look at: totals. How many accounts exist, how many were created each day, how many signed-in devices there are per platform, total storage, and how many accounts were deleted per month. These are counts only. There is no list of users and no per-user figure, even for administrators.

11. Children

Tutio is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly hold accounts for them. We do not ask for your age.

12. Changes to this policy

We will post changes here and change the effective date. If a change means we collect more, or use what we hold differently, we will say so clearly on this page before it takes effect.

Kısaca

• Tutio, tamamen cihazınızda çalışan bir not uygulamasıdır. Oturum açmazsanız yazdığınız hiçbir şey cihazınızdan çıkmaz ve sizinle ilgili hiçbir veriye sahip olmayız.
• Oturum açmak isteğe bağlıdır. Cihazlarınız arasında eşitlemeyi açar. O zaman notlarınız sunucumuzda saklanır.
• Eşitleme uçtan uca şifreli değildir. Notlarınız sunucumuza giderken ve saklandıkları yerde şifrelidir, ancak anahtar bizdedir. Sunucumuz, notlarınızı diğer cihazlarınıza gönderebilmek için onları okur; hizmeti işleten kişi teknik olarak onları okuyabilir.
• Reklam göstermeyiz, analiz veya izleme aracı kullanmayız, verilerinizi satmaz ve paylaşmayız.
• Hesabınızı ve onun için tuttuğumuz her şeyi, istediğiniz an uygulamanın içinden silebilirsiniz.

1. Oturum açmazsanız

Hiçbir veri toplanmaz. Uygulama notlarınızı, anlık notlarınızı, pano geçmişinizi, ses kayıtlarınızı ve görsellerinizi yalnızca cihazınızda saklar. İçinde analiz, reklam veya çökme raporlama yazılımı yoktur ve sunucumuzla iletişim kurmaz.

Ses. Konuşmanın metne dökülmesi cihazınızda yapılır: cihazın kendi cihaz içi konuşma tanıması ve Tutio'nun cihazda çalıştırdığı bir konuşma modeli kullanılır. Tutio sesi hiçbir zaman yüklemez. Sesi ilk kullandığınızda uygulama, bu konuşma modelini huggingface.co adresinden indirmeden önce size sorar; bu indirme IP adresinizi Hugging Face'e ve içerik ağına gösterir, hakkınızda başka hiçbir şey göstermez. Telefonunuzun kendi konuşma tanıması için bir dil paketi eksikse, onu biz değil, telefonun konuşma hizmeti kendi sağlayıcısından (Apple veya Google) indirir.

2. Oturum açtığınızda topladıklarımız

Yalnızca eşitlemenin gerektirdiği veriler. Bunları doğrudan sizden, uygulama aracılığıyla alırız.

Hesabınız

Eşitlerseniz, yazdıklarınız

Pano eşitlemenin ayrı bir anahtarı vardır; not eşitleme açıkken kapatılabilir. Panoyu yalnızca Mac uygulaması okur. Telefon uygulaması telefonunuzun panosunu asla okumaz: Mac'inizin gönderdiklerini ve kaydetmeyi seçtiklerinizi gösterir.

Cihazlarınız hakkında

Cihazınızın modelini, işletim sistemi sürümünü, reklam tanımlayıcısını, kişilerinizi, konumunuzu veya cihazla ilgili başka hiçbir şeyi toplamayız.

Teknik veriler

• IP adresi. Sunucumuz, tek bir adresten yapılabilecek oturum açma denemelerini sınırlamak için IP adresinizi kullanır. Adresin kendisini değil, tek yönlü bir özetini, en fazla 2 gün saklar. Sunucumuz IP adreslerini günlüklerine yazmaz. Cloudflare ve sunucumuzun önündeki ağ geçidi, güvenlik ve sorun giderme amacıyla sınırlı bir süre için olağan erişim günlükleri tutar (IP adresi, istenen adres ve zaman; isteğin içeriği değil).
• Birinin yazdığı adres. Oturum açma ekranına herkes bir e-posta adresi girebilir. Bu olduğunda o adrese kod içeren bir e-posta gönderir ve adresin bir özetini, ona ne sıklıkta kod gönderilebileceğini sınırlamak için en fazla 2 gün saklarız. Kod girilene kadar hesap oluşmaz.
• Sunucu günlükleri. Sunucumuzun günlükleri notlarınızı, panonuzu, oturum açma kodlarını, erişim belirteçlerini veya e-posta adresinizin tamamını içermez. Size gönderilen bir e-posta iletilemezse günlüğe maskelenmiş bir adres (a***@example.com) yazılır. Günlükler güvenlik ve sorun giderme için sınırlı bir süre tutulur, sonra silinir.
• Boyutlar ve zamanlar. Her öğe için boyutunu, ne zaman oluşturulup değiştirildiğini ve silinip silinmediğini saklarız. Bunlar şifreli değildir.
• Eklerin parmak izleri. Görseller ve ses kayıtları cihazınızda kalır (bölüm 3). Bunlardan birini içeren bir not veya anlık not, metninde dosyanın bir parmak izini (SHA-256 özeti) taşır ve bu parmak izi metinle birlikte eşitlenir. Dosyayı tanımlar; görsele veya kayda geri dönüştürülemez.

3. Cihazınızdan asla çıkmayanlar

• Ses kayıtları ve diğer sesler.
• Notlara ve anlık notlara eklenen görseller, ekran görüntüleri ve dosyalar.
• Parolalar ve diğer gizli pano girdileri. Sistemin gizli, geçici veya otomatik üretilmiş olarak işaretlediği kopyalar (parola yöneticilerinin yaptığı gibi), uygulama onları okumadan reddedilir. Asla saklanmaz ve asla gönderilmez.
• Telefonunuzda kopyaladığınız her şey. Telefon uygulaması telefonun panosunu hiç okumaz.
• Oturumunuz kapalıyken her şey.
• Pano eşitleme kapalıyken pano girdileri.
• Ayarlarınız, anımsatıcılarınız ve bölüm 2'de sayılmayan her şey.

Dolayısıyla ikinci bir cihazda bir not metnini gösterir, görsellerini veya kayıtlarını göstermez.

4. Nasıl korunur ve bu ne anlama gelmez

• Aktarım sırasında: uygulama ile hizmetimiz arasındaki her bağlantı HTTPS (TLS) kullanır. Uygulama başka hiçbir şekilde bağlanmayı kabul etmez. Bağlantı Cloudflare'de sonlanır; Cloudflare isteği sunucumuza iletir (bölüm 5). Yani Cloudflare, bunu yaptığı an boyunca verilerinizi şifresiz olarak işler.
• Saklanırken: notlarınızın, anlık notlarınızın, kategori ve etiket adlarınızın, pano öğelerinizin ve cihaz adlarının metni veritabanımızda AES-256-GCM ile şifrelenir. Veritabanının bir kopyası veya yedeği okunabilir metin içermez.
• Uçtan uca şifreleme değildir. Şifreleme anahtarı bizdedir ve veritabanından ayrı tutulur. Anahtar, hizmetin çalıştığı altyapıda ayrı bir yapılandırma sisteminde saklanır. Sunucumuz, içeriğinizi cihazlarınızdan birine her gönderdiğinde şifresini çözer. Bunun anlamı:
  • hizmeti işleten kişi içeriğinizi teknik olarak okuyabilir;
  • hem veritabanını hem anahtarı ele geçiren biri onu okuyabilir;
  • bir mahkeme kararıyla onu teslim etmek zorunda kalabiliriz.
    
    Bir şey için bu kabul edilemezse onu eşitlemeyin: Tutio oturum açmadan da eksiksiz çalışır.
• Tarafımızca saklanırken şifrelenmeyenler: e-posta adresiniz, görünen adınız, diliniz, saat diliminiz ve bölüm 2'de sayılan boyutlar, zamanlar, bağlantılar ve tanımlayıcılar.
• Oturum açma: parola yoktur. Bir oturum açma kodu 10 dakika ve beş deneme için geçerlidir ve yalnızca anahtarlı bir özet olarak saklanır. Yeni bir cihazdaki her oturum açılışında adresinize, tüm cihazlarınızın oturumunu kapatan bir bağlantı içeren bir e-posta gönderilir. E-postanızı okuyabilen kişi hesabınıza girebilir; posta kutunuzu koruyun.

5. Nerede saklanır ve başka kim işler

• Barındırma. Sunucumuz ve veritabanımız Fransa'da OVH (OVH SAS) tarafından barındırılır.
• Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., ABD) uygulama ile sunucumuz arasındaki tüm trafiği taşır. Her istek onun ağından geçer; cihazınızdan gelen şifreli bağlantı orada sonlanır ve sunucumuza yeni bir bağlantı başlar. Bu nedenle Cloudflare, eşitlediğiniz her şeyi aktarım sırasında işler: notlarınızın ve panonuzun içeriği, e-posta adresiniz ve IP adresiniz dahil. Bunu bizim adımıza yapar ve içeriğinizi saklamaz. Cloudflare, standart veri işleme koşulları kapsamında bizim adımıza hareket eder.
• Resend (Resend, Inc., ABD) e-postalarımızı gönderir. E-posta adresinizi ve size gönderdiğimiz e-postaların içeriğini alır: oturum açma kodunuz ve yeni oturum açma bildirimi (cihazın türü, zaman ve oturumu kapatma bağlantısı). Notlarınızı asla almaz. Resend, standart veri işleme koşulları kapsamında bizim adımıza hareket eder ve gönderilen e-postaların kayıtlarını kendi saklama politikasına göre tutar.
• Başka kimse yok. Verilerinizi satmaz, kiralamaz ve paylaşmayız; reklam veya analiz şirketi yoktur.
• Yasal talepler. Yasa gerektirdiğinde veri açıklayabiliriz. Tutio Türkiye'den işletilir ve sunucusu Fransa'dadır; bu nedenle Türkiye, Fransa ve Avrupa Birliği makamları bunu talep edebilir.

6. Ne kadar süre saklarız

7. Hesabınızı silme

Uygulamada: Ayarlar → Hesap → Hesabı sil. Hemen geçerli olur.

• Hemen silinir: hesabınız ve e-posta adresiniz, görünen adınız, her not, anlık not, kategori, etiket, pano kartı ve pano öğesi (kaydedilmiş veya aktarılmakta olan), her cihaz ve oturum ve depolama toplamınız.
• Her yerde oturum kapanır: hesabın her cihazı sunucuyla çalışmayı hemen bırakır.
• Tutulur: o ay kaç hesabın silindiğinin sayısı; sizi tanımlayan hiçbir şey içermez.
• Tarafımızca silinmez: kendi cihazlarınızdaki notlar. Hesabınızı silmek cihazlarınızı silmez; uygulama onaylamadan önce bunu söyler.
• Sınırlı bir süre kalır: özetlenmiş IP adresleri (2 gün) ve size daha önce gönderilmiş e-postalar; posta kutunuzda ve e-posta sağlayıcımızın kayıtlarında (sağlayıcının kendi saklama süresi boyunca). Silinen bir hesabın içinde kalabileceği bir yedek yoktur.

Uygulamayı kullanamıyorsanız hesabınızı bir tarayıcıdan silin: https://api.tutioapp.com/account/delete?lang=tr. Sayfa e-posta adresinizi sorar, o adrese bir kod gönderir ve herhangi bir şeyi silmeden önce nelerin silineceğini gösterir.

8. Verilerinizin bir kopyasını alma

Eşitlediğiniz her şey zaten cihazlarınızda, eksiksiz olarak uygulamadadır. Eksiksiz bir kopyayı kendiniz de kaydedebilirsiniz: Ayarlar → Veri → Yedekle, görseller ve ses kayıtları dahil her şeyi sizde kalan bir dosyaya yazar; notlarınız için düz metin dışa aktarma da vardır. Bugün sunucudan dışa aktarma yoktur. İletişim adresinden isterseniz, hesabınız için tuttuğumuz verileri 30 gün içinde size göndeririz.

9. Haklarınız

Hakkınızda ne tuttuğumuzu her zaman sorabilir, düzeltilmesini, silinmesini veya işlenmesinin durdurulmasını isteyebilir ve veri koruma kurumunuza şikâyette bulunabilirsiniz. Türkiye'deyseniz bunlar 6698 sayılı Kanun'un (KVKK) 11. maddesindeki haklarınızdır ve Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu'na şikâyette bulunabilirsiniz. Avrupa Ekonomik Alanı'nda veya Birleşik Krallık'taysanız GDPR'ın 15 ila 22. maddelerindeki haklara sahipsiniz ve yerel veri koruma kurumunuza şikâyette bulunabilirsiniz. Verilerinizi, oturum açarak istediğiniz eşitleme hizmetini sunmak için gerekli olduğundan; oturum açma sınırları bakımından ise hizmeti güvende tutmaya yönelik meşru menfaatimiz nedeniyle işleriz. Bu haklardan herhangi birini kullanmak için yukarıdaki iletişim adresine yazın.

10. Reklam yok, analiz yok, izleme yok

• Reklam ve reklam tanımlayıcısı yoktur.
• Uygulamada da sunucuda da analiz, izleme veya çökme raporlama yazılımı yoktur.
• Sizin için bir profil oluşturmaz, verilerinizi başka bir yerden gelen verilerle birleştirmeyiz.
• Uygulamayı nasıl kullandığınızı veya kaç kişinin kullandığını ölçmeyiz.
• Baktığımız şey toplamlardır: kaç hesap olduğu, her gün kaç hesap açıldığı, platform başına kaç oturum açılmış cihaz bulunduğu, toplam depolama ve ayda kaç hesabın silindiği. Bunlar yalnızca sayılardır. Yöneticiler için bile kullanıcı listesi veya kullanıcı başına bir rakam yoktur.

11. Çocuklar

Tutio 13 yaşından küçük çocuklar için tasarlanmamıştır ve bilerek onlara ait hesap tutmayız. Yaşınızı sormayız.

12. Bu politikadaki değişiklikler

Değişiklikleri burada yayımlar ve yürürlük tarihini değiştiririz. Bir değişiklik daha fazla veri topladığımız veya tuttuklarımızı farklı kullandığımız anlamına geliyorsa, yürürlüğe girmeden önce bunu bu sayfada açıkça belirtiriz.
